With another woman taking home the N100 million grand prize, Big Brother Naija Season 7 has officially come to an end.

 Phyna won the reality TV competition that had its premiere on the night of Sunday July 24.

The 25-year-old wins N60 million in cash, a new SUV from Innoson Motors, a trip for two to Dubai, a year’s supply of Pepsi, a brand-new Camon-19 smartphone, supplies of Unik soap and Nexus household appliances, among other delectable gifts.

Phyna had to overcome numerous evictions in order to emerge as the most nominated housemate during the Level Up Season.

With her victory, Phyna became the second female winner of BBNaija, creating more history. Mercy was the first, and she had won the pepper dem season. Here are five things about the BBNaija season 7 champion you probably didn’t know.

Her real name is Ijeoma Josephina Otabor but she is commonly known as Phyna. She is a model, content creator, hype woman, fashion entrepreneur, and Nollywood actor. She was born and raised in Edo State, where she also attended school.

Phyna has also shown fortitude and diligence in her academic pursuits, pushing forward against all odds to continue her study at a higher institution of learning. She had remarked, “I never imagined I would be able to further my education in a higher institution of study.

Phyna has received a lot of attention as the show’s alpha female during this season. She frequently asserts that she is from the streets and that being who she is has allowed her to win the hearts of people.

2. The number of votes she got

Ebuka announced Phyna as the winner of the Level Up Season with a total of 40.74 percent of the Votes.

Bryann received 26.74% of the vote, placing her as the first runner-up. Bella received 15.78% of the votes, placing her in third place.

Adekunle, who received 12.36 percent of the votes and placed fourth, Chichi, who received 2.49 percent, and Daniella, who received 1.89 percent, were the other members of the top six.

3. Massive fanbase

Outside of the house, Phyna, the season 7 champion, has a sizable fan base. Prior to her victory on Sunday, many predicted that she would be the second female housemate, after Mercy Eke, to win the competition.

She was the first female housemate to get verified just within a few weeks of the reality show’s debut. 

With her charming and “street-like” persona when she was in the house, she developed a sizable and fervent fandom known as “Phynation.” And the results of the official poll, in which she received 40.74% of the overall vote, confirmed that.

4. She is good in handy work

The BBnaija star proved in the house that she possesses a variety of skills.

Her ability to solve problems with her hands has drawn attention throughout the house.

She has been seen trimming and plaiting hair for housemates in addition to enjoying fixing household items.

5. She had been auditioning for five years

Phyna is a go-getter. She has had her sights set on the Big Brother Naija House for five years, but she was only chosen once. She claims that she has persisted because she wants to change things.

She had pledged to bring drama, energy, and ginger before entering the house, and towards the end of the programme, the majority of her supporters attested to this.
